I love the internet.
No, seriously. Digital communication and self-expression are two of the things I love most about the web. Granted, I like a lot of things on the web (like video games, Youtube?.), but the point still stands. However, the Internet is getting more and more commercialized with each passing year, and I wanted a space that I could create, customize, and control. So making my own website seemed like the obvious answer to that.
I have some experience with HTML as a coding language already (on top of barely remembering Python, thank you high school Computer Science classes), so the feat of website seemed a lot less daunting to some other projects I had under the hood. Because of my lack of coding skill, however, it's safe to assume that this website will always be in some state of construction.
