Why A Website?
I love the internet.
No, seriously. Digital communication and self-expression are two of the things I love most about the web. Granted, I like a lot of things on the web (like video games, Youtube?.), but the point still stands. However, the Internet is getting more and more commercialized with each passing year, and I wanted a space that I could create, customize, and control. So making my own website seemed like the obvious answer to that.
I have some experience with HTML as a coding language already (on top of barely remembering Python, thank you high school Computer Science classes), so the feat of website seemed a lot less daunting to some other projects I had under the hood. Because of my lack of coding skill, however, it's safe to assume that this website will always be in some state of construction. And maybe look a little ugly and run poorly. But that's part of the charm.

The One About Things I Like
Some things I am interested in:
- Video Games. A lot of them. This also includes making them.
- Collecting Transformers products. This is mostly the figures but I also like cups and novelty stuff.
- Watching long-form Youtube video essays. Usually while drawing.
- Bonus points if the aformentioned Youtube video essays are about video games.
- Meticulously looking through thrift stores and pawn shops.
- Table top roleplayng games. Mostly Dungeons and Dragons 5e, but I also am very fond of games that use the Powered by the Apocalypse system.
- Minecraft. I said video games before but Minecraft, I think, deserves a special spot here.
- Biology, like, in general. The specific fields have bounced around a lot, but the main ones I am the most knowledgeable on are mycology, entomology, and marine biology. I also like speculative biology a lot, but have yet to make anything cool relating to it.
